The LAST PUSH. Reflecting on the past few weeks.

Sitting in the 70s now we wanted 9-10kg off so 1-2kg more until this diet phase is done.

I cannot quite believe I am entering week 10 of this cut... this just reminds me just how quickly a prep goes!

Hitting 70.1kg this week

Starting weight was 77.3kg

UPDATES: Following the diet break, deload and refresh.

We went back to baseline food and added cardio back in and steps went back up and i put ON around 1.5kg... this just showed us that the current expenditure was causing too much inflammation at this point. It has a purpose but being this close to the 'end' of the diet phase we decided to amend the 20mins cardio + 16k steps to 18k steps and continue.

This has allowed me to feel alot more fresh going into my training sessions and actually lead to one of the best leg sessions I feel I have had for a WHILE (excluding the sessions with extra food of course) and actually lead to DOMs for what also feels like the first time in forever... and i know i would much rather have DOMs from TRAINING instead of legs like lead from cardio.

On reflection of this phase - i will do a much more in depth one when we actually finish, but i am very much looking forward to our goal not being fat loss. I know this next phase isn't going to be our typical flick of the switch into growing, it will be more of a maintenance phase but as highlighted at the beginning, i have zero desire to get any leaner that what is required for the purpose of the job, which was to be in a good position to start prep next season.

After the last two weeks of absolute MADNESS - July workshop - Belfast - NBW workshop.

I feel so grateful for being able to live this life... Im not going to say 'its time to rest' because the next few MONTHS even more is coming and i cannot wait. I don't feel i need rest from this life. LETS GO.
