YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.
Plans are in place and offseason is coming to an end next month - June we start a minicut.
As you are probably aware, I am a BIG advocate for pushing up, I typically do a solid 12 month push, no breaks, however with me moving into womens physique category next year I will have to come in alot leaner for stage and so my prep start point will HAVE to be leaner. That means for the goals that I have set, that I can't afford to push up my bodyweight as high this offseason, else prep will be extremely difficult. Things are FLYING in training at the minute and my appetite is definitely still there, hehe always is, so it seems bittersweet BUT I will not be letting my performance slip through this cut, I am determined to stay as strong as possible throughout my lifts.
Currently sitting at 76.5kg, 19kg above stage weight, so the plan is to strip it back for 10 weeks and then do a much more controlled push back up to get calories in a good spot, get refreshed and ready until prep begins in JANUARY.
I am so excited for this next phase, I am so ready for it. I feel this has been my most successful push so far since starting bodybuilding and I can't wait to see what I have managed to build in those 7/8 months.
